PROFILE DOCUMENTATION

In the following we explain You all You need to know about Your DJ-League-Membercard. If You have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.

This is the first step to get into the administation-area of Your membercard.

Just click on the small button right from the “Fan Section” – headline. Then use the access-files (Username & Password) we sent You in the past and click on the button “Login”. If You have done everything correctly You will reach Your personal administration-area.

“remember me”
If You sign this box with a cross Your username will automatically be shown at the username-field.

Membercard Properties

Under this topic You are able to edit the general properties of Your membercard, for example the standard-language, etc.

Here You can choose the language which is used in areas, which are not filled out, for example if there’s no translation, etc.

Your own membercard title:
This text will be shown at the top of the browser-window when Your membercard is opened. And it will be shown at the results from search-engines.

Display Player, References, Biography, Fanbook:
Here You can decide if You want that the content of the Player, References, Biography and Fanbook are visible or not.

Black-Music-Forum Integration (only for members at this german message-board):
If You fill out the form You can integrate Your last forum-posts at Your membercard. But remember: You need the access-files of Your forum-membership.

Statistics:
Here You can see how many people have visited Your membercard since the beginning of the “new-membercard-era”. But remember, You have to promote Your personal membercard to get many hits. The DJ-League is also promoting the new membercards, but we do this in general.

Existing Informations on Your membercard:
Here You have an over-view, which infos are already posted on Your membercard and which are still missing.

Mediaplayer SetUp

Now let’s work on the mediaplayer-setup, which allows You to bring videos and tracks online. The videos and tracks, which are posted in this player cannot be downloaded by the visitors. But please make sure, that You do not neglect the rights of third persons (f.e. artists and labels).

Now we want to explain You the possibilities to change the properties of Your player. But remember, that the best thing to find the right optic is, that You play with the properties themselves a bit:

Lightcolor:
This is the color which is shown when You roll over the respective tracks/videos with Your mouse (in this example “DJ Excel – making of … Deja Vu”).
Backcolor:
This is the basic color of the mediaplayer.
Frontcolor:
This is the color from the general type and the selected track/video.
Display Video:
If You want to show a video to the users then You have to select “true”. If You want to show just a pic instead of a video then You have to select “false”.
Autostart:
If You want that a mediafile (music or video) starts automatically, then please select “true”, if not, then You have to select “false”.
Repeat:
Here You have three possibilities. If You choose “Playlist” then the player starts at the first track/video, stops at the last one and starts again from the beginning. If “Single Track” is selected, then the selected track plays again and again. The last possibility is “false”. At this point You have choosen a no-repeat-function.
Show Thumbnails:
A thumbnail is a small pic which can be shown at the tracklist. If You want to have a thumbnail then use “true” in Your selection, if not then select “false”.
Shuffle:
Shuffle is another word for “random play”. If You select “true”, then the player always starts with different tracks/videos after someone moves to Your membercard.

Each color has a kind of number in the internet-world. In this documentation You get the color codes:

If You have done all changes please press the button “Save Properties”. After that Your changes will work, not before.

The next step is to insert tracks/videos to Your mediaplayer. But please make sure, that You do not neglect the rights of third persons (f.e. artists and labels).

Artist/Creator:
Please use this field to register the artist or the creator of the file that have to be included.
Title:
The title of the track/video.
Location (URL):
This is the place where the mediafile is based on an external server. Please pay attention that the URL have to be posted like http://www.server.com/directory/stuff/media.mp3. For mediafiles only the prefixes mp3 and flv are allowed, for pictures jpg, gif and png are possible.
Image/Cover (optional):
This is the place where the mediafile is based on an external server. Please pay attention that the URL have to be posted like http://www.server.com/directory/stuff/media.mp3. For pictures jpg, gif and png are possible.

If You have done all changes please press the button “Add Mediafile to your Player”. After that Your changes will work, not before.

The last step at the mediaplayer-setup concerns about editing.

Sort:
You can edit the order of the tracks/videos in the mediaplayer. Only change the numbers in the order You wish to. But remember each number is only available one time.
Artist/Title:
If You want to edit the artist-name and title-name, then edit it in the respective field.
Media:
If You want to change the URL, then edit it in the respective field.
Picture:
If You want to change the URL, then edit it in the respective field
Delete:
If You want to delete a track/video, then click on the cross in red.
If You have done all changes please press the button “Actualize Mediaplayer “. After that Your changes will work, not before.

Image Gallery SetUp

Now let’s work on the image gallery – setup, which allows You to bring Your pics online. There are two things that are very important. The only file-type You can use is JPG/JPEG and the maximum file-size is 250 kb.

1.Step
Choose a pic from Your computer. For this use the button “Datei auswählen”.
2.Step
Now add a comment to Your pic, if You want to. Write it in the field.
3.Step
If You have done the first two steps, than please click on the button “Upload Image”. After that Your pics are added to Your membercard, not before. You will now see the following information:

Now, You can edit Your image gallery.

The last step at the image gallery concerns about editing.

Order:
You can edit the order of the pics in the image gallery. Only change the numbers in the order You wish to. But remember each number is only available one time.
Preview:
This is the visible control. See which pics are uploaded.
Comment:
If You want to change the comment, then edit it in the respective field.
Size:
At this place You can control the file-size of each pic.
Delete:
If You want to delete a pic, then click on the cross in red.
If You have done all changes please press the button “Update “. After that Your changes will work, not before.

Latest News SetUp

Now let’s work on the latest news – setup, which allows You to bring Your personal news online. You can use this tool as a blog, where You write down Your newest stuff (parties, etc.)

You can edit Your personal news section in four languages, in german, in english, in italian and in french. For choosing the language just click on the flags on the right side. After You have done that You can write down Your article in the selected language. At the end press the button “Save News”, and Your article will be shown on Your membercard.

There are some BB Codes, which help You to create an individual layout. In the following we explain it to You:

The preview-field shows You how the news will be shown on the membercard.

Dates SetUp
Now let’s work on the dates – setup, which allows You to bring Your actual dates online.

01. Date:
Select the right date.
02. Location:
It is important, that You only post three facts in this field. “Club”, “city” and “country” are the only facts, which have to be written down in this field.
03. Description:
Here You can write down special descriptions to the date, which You want to post to, f.e. the name of Your radio-show incl. showtime, the name of a party incl. special informations, etc..

HTML-Tags are disabled, line breaks will be generated automatically.

The last step at the dates – setup concerns about editing.

Date:
You can edit the date at this place.
Location / Description:
In these two fields You can edit the location and the descriptions to Your date.
Delete:
If You want to delete a date, then click on the cross in red. If You have done all changes please press the button “Save changes “. After that Your changes will work, not before.

Bio & References SetUp

Now let’s work on the bio and references – setup, which allows You to bring Your personal biography and references online. The procedure is in both cases the same, so we explain it only one time.

You can edit Your personal bio / references in four languages, in german, in english, in italian and in french. For choosing the language just click on the flags on the right side. After You have done that You can write down Your bio / references in the selected language. At the end press the button “Save Bio” / “Save References “, and Your bio / references will be shown on Your membercard.

User Data SetUp

At this topic the general informations of the membercard-owner are available and editable, for example password, town, state, country, adress, etc. .

At this field You cannot edit details. If there’s something wrong or missing please contact the webmaster and ask him for making Your wished changes.

Here You can edit Your personal profile, f.e. after a move. Please make sure that everything is complete and correct. Only the selected fields will be shown, but only for dj-league members, not for the public !!! All other informations are exclusively shared with the DJ-League Headquarter.

Message Center SetUp

This is the communication-center of Your membercard. Here You can get in contact with Your fans and You can read all the messages which come from the contact-form.

If Your fan or a user will click on “Send a message” at Your membercard, the following form will be shown.

All fields have to be filled out like shown above. After that a fan or user can get in contact with You. If You open now the message-center, then You will see the list of Your recieved messages.

At the end of each line You see an envelope. The green one means “not read” and the red one means “already read”. With clicking on the red cross You can delete the message. If You click now at the subject of the message (in this case “Send a Message”) You will get the whole message.

If You click on the email-adress of the message-sender, You can write him back.
